Nevertheless they persisted…

This started as a doodle of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and then grew… Now it includes all kinds of women of God, some biblical, some from the church through the ages, and one or two who are still going strong now.

I’ve wanted to do this for ages, and tonight I did. I took home some of the charred wood from the Easter Fire, and used it to sketch some images of the resurrection.
