Heather writes: On the keeping contact front we send cards for birthdays 1-4 then invite to Sunday school, junior church – whatever you prefer to call it. We also send invites to Mothering Sunday, harvest and Christmas services and any other suitable service or children’s activity (we do half term activity days – bit like messy church but they were happening before messy church so we’ve stuck with our name which is known) . Get more of a response – not a lot but a little.
Ally writes: Some churches have made good use of social media to keep in touch with families in the lead up to the baptism and afterwards. Could parents be asked if they would be comfortable sharing a photo from the day on the church’s facebook page?
