Dear Ally,
I have just come across your beautiful religious paintings. I have tears I n my eyes they are the most beautiful depictions of Jesus I have ever seen. Normally I find images of Jesus unbearable but your Jesus is real and touches my heart in a profound way. The image of Mary Magdalene touching Jesus and Jesus embracing Peter, Jesus sat on the road sign with the woman and children, Mary nursing Jesus. I just want to say thank you for your faith, courage and talent and thank you for your generosity in sharing these.
It’s always a joy for me to hear when my paintings have been a blessing to someone. If you haven’t come across it, you might enjoy Paula Gooder’s book, Women of Holy Week, which I illustrated. It’s also available as a podcast and you can download the pictures here (but not for long, I think): https://chbookshop.hymnsam.co.uk/books/9781781402894/women-of-holy-week.
Bless you, Carol.
Dear Ally
The paintings of baptism and foot washing are awesome. May I purchase permission to use these images in a workbook I am creating on baptism? Glad I found your site. BTW your art was presented in a recent edition of the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s Panorama magazine. That is how I found you.
God’s peace

I am not very computer savvy and cannot extract or copy your painting prints to a format I can use. Any ideas about a cut and paste like process? Thank you

Rev Ally
I fooled around a figured out how to extract the image I wanted. If you have a mailing address I would gladly send you a copy of the workbook I plan to include you artwork in. Thanks again
On behalf of our publishing house, I am writing to ask your permission to use one of your paintings for one of our books. The painting is the one with the man lying in the desert (Eljah, I imagine?); we would like to use it as the cover for a book about Eljah, written by sr. Anne Lécu.
We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you and best regards,
Thank you for your art and generosity in sharing your paintings. I am part of a group linked to WATCH which plans an online time of inclusive liturgy about four times a year and for this session we plan to use one of your paintings (not sure if it is an annunciation) for our theme is “The liberating power of mercy”. This will be on the website and facebook We will obviously note your copyright. I have been looking for an email to check with you but can’t find a current one, so I hope this is OK with you.
