This stick was spotted outside Buckden Methodist Church today. It really is just standing there, with nothing holding it up. I expext someone will have trodden on it or knocked it over by now, but it’s still pretty cool. How does an ordinary stick defy the laws of physics? Or, if someone’s actually gone to the trouble of glueing a stick to the pavement, why couldn’t they do so outside my church?
